They found that Emma’s bowels are cramping (gas pains).  They have discontinued the epidural and are giving her morphine.  They gave her a suppository to try to make her have a bowel movement.  So far that hasn’t helped.  It did help yesterday, so they are hoping that it helps again.  They have opened the G/J tubes to help release some of the gas.  They have been getting a lot of gas out of the G tube.  Grandma Carol
